In 2023, FATV in Fitchburg conducted an interview with several of our members, highlighting a brief history of Freemasonry and shedding light on the fraternity. The Massachusetts Grand Lodge was established in 1733, and in 1801, Aurora Lodge was chartered in Leominster. On March 14, 1845, Aurora Lodge relocated to Fitchburg, MA, with the permission of the Grand Lodge. Freemasonry strives to help good men become better. It is not a religion, and its members come from diverse faiths and beliefs.
