2022 King Solomon’s Charity Golf Tournament is coming Saturday, August 20th.
Each year, Aurora Lodge hosts a charity golf tournament, a favorite event of Masons and non-Masons alike. Save the date and make plans to attend or be a proud sponsor in the next tournament, scheduled for Saturday, August 20th, 2022 at the Woods of Westminster, Westminster, MA.
The proceeds of this event will allow us to continue to support Masonic charitable endeavors as we have for our 221-year history. Aurora Lodge is one of the oldest fraternal and charitable organizations in the greater Fitchburg area, we have been meeting continuously since 1801, and we would be proud to have you join us in this great event.
The proceeds help us to continue to support DeMolay for young men, Rainbow for young ladies, and the scouts, which help to develop well-rounded future leaders. As well, this helps provide support for the many charities we support from our Lodge.
Our newest charity is The Masonic Medical Research Laboratory in Utica, New York which specializes in cardiac and non-embryonic stem cell research for cardiac repair. They have discovered many breakthrough technologies in heart repair and research.
Our own Angel Fund supports those in need right here in Fitchburg & surrounding towns. The Fund delivers modest assistance to children in need who do not fit the criteria for the usual social service programs and is designed to provide money for small but important expenditures that can make a difference in a child’s life. Money for glasses, books, a winter coat, new shoes, and other such items are not extravagant but are nevertheless out of the reach of struggling families.
We are asking local businesses to come together and help us make this tournament a resounding success by putting together a foursome to participate in. If that is not within your reach, please consider sponsoring a Hole or Tee, or perhaps supplying a gift for the silent auction table. We will gladly announce your support and display your company name on signage on the course, and throughout the tournament.
Please see the below flyer detailing the donation for each of these options.
